What’s in a name?

This week’s C&IT news featured two stories that led us to beg
the question: what’s in a name?

 

BI
Worldwide, a company that C&IT has referred to in the past as BI Worldwide,
has rebranded
as… er BI Worldwide (although they’d prefer we use the
bolder upper-case BI WORLDWIDE). To be fair, the move is to create a consistent
brand across the globe – including in markets where it is not referred to by its full name – and it also saw the group unveil a redesigned logo. So from a busines perspective, it makes sense.

After watching our bankers wipe billions from the world economy and our MPs charge taxpayers for their duck ponds and adult material, it turns out we can’t even fall back on a rabble of angry hoodies for moral guidance.

Jordan’s ambassador makes surprise appearance at Agency Forum

There’s never a box of Ferrero Rocher on hand when you need one, so when
Jordan’s ambassador to the UK Mazen Homoud made an impromptu appearance at
C&IT’s Agency Forum at Chelsea FC yesterday (4 August), we felt a little
under prepared.
